The Gist: Slick Barrier is a patented system that prevents pests from entering homes and offices. Although initially, the founders were hesitant, they finally decided to go with the 15% equity deal. Each of these companies had different challenges on their way to success. EyeWris initially struggled to sell its innovative reading glasses but eventually got all five sharks to invest, which helped them with marketing.
